After completing the consent to evaluate, the Initial Evaluation Due Date will show. This date is configured to your local calendar. Once the LEA has received signed parental consent to evaluate, they have 60 days to complete the initial evaluation and all evaluation reports. The date the signed consent to evaluate was received counts as Day 1.

After starting the initial eligibility, a new Initial Evaluation section and link will show on the Timelines page. This is an editable date. It will continue to be editable until the Initial Eligibility Report is finalized.

    • All audits related to this field will be applied (must be on or between the consent to evaluate received date and the initial evaluation completion date).
      • The Vision/Hearing date audit will also be dependent upon this date rather than the initial eligibility date.
      • A warning will be given on page 1 of the eligibility that is based on the eligibility date in case the initial evaluation date has not yet been entered.

Date of Completion of Initial Evaluation and all evaluation reports will be used to calculate Timelines for Indicator 11.
