Post-School Survey Process (Small LEAs) 

The Post-School Survey is a pre-populated survey based on exit data submitted by the LEAs in Student Records from June of the prior school year. It includes students with disabilities who left secondary school. Students who were reported in FTE-1 as returned to school during the current year are removed from the exiter list.  The LEA reports on each individual student in the one Post-School Activity that best describes his/her post-school status.  

  

LEAs, who do not serve high school or did not report high school exiters in Student Record, will see a message that states “Post-School Outcomes is not applicable for this LEA” in their Post-School Survey Tile (1) Nothing needs to be entered for those LEAs. No further action is required.

The Post-School Outcomes tile will show the previous year’s data until the application opens in May.

Below is the landing page for the post-school outcomes survey. Please note that it will be blank until the application is open, and the data is entered.

Once on the landing page inside of the application, select a school. Students are listed by the school in which they were last enrolled.

Report one Post-School Activity for each student from the drop-down list that best describes his/her post-school status. 

Note: Drop down list of Post-School Activities have view only capabilities prior to May 15.

The survey can be completed in more than one sitting. Select “Save all” to retain the data entered. Select “Data Submission” to return to the prior page. You may save a copy of your data at any time by following the directions for downloading student data in the next section of this document.
