In the Student Record Report/ Extract, each event code should be reported by the school in which the event occurred.  GO-IEP refers to the GTID claims history to determine the appropriate school code for the event date.  For some students, the school code in GO-IEP is not matching the school code in the enrollment history reported by your SIS. This may cause an SR error indicating that you are sending event coded for SR which do not have a corresponding enrollment record.  This tool is available for system administrators to tell GO-IEP to ignore GTID claims that are incorrectly associated with events and causing the SR error.

The SR School Code tool is accessible to system administrators by using SR School Code tab located under the System Admin area.

1.  After selecting the link, this screen will show.  Enter the GTID for the student and select the blue GET SCHOOL CODE button.

2.  GO-IEP will display a list of GTID claims for this GTID ordered by school entry date.  In the column on the right, put a checkmark for any GTID claim that should be IGNORED when the SR extract is being generated.  (This means you should check any school which is incorrectly showing in your extract.  It may be necessary to also check any earlier GTID claims for the correct school to be used in the extract.

3. After checking all the schools that GO-IEP should ignore for SR, select the blue IGNORE STUDENT DEMOGRAPHICS button.

4. If you have multiple students that need a change to the school code, select the blue CLEAR button to remove the GTID so you can enter another GTID.
