For all students, a goal may have one or more objectives based on your local policy and procedures. Objectives are not required by the state of Georgia unless the student is participating in GAA 2.0 (Georgia Alternative Assessment). Refer to your LEA's local policy and procedures for students not participating on the GAA 2.0 to determine if Objectives will be required.

For students on the GAA 2.0, the IEP must have at least two Annual Goals and at least one Objective for each Annual Goal. An audit will show in GO-IEP if the Annual Goals do not have Objectives.

Objectives are developed in the same manner as goals. Select the Add Objective button next to the goal to add an objective under the goal. The trash can icon on any line will allow you to delete that line.
