Welcome
Welcome to the Georgia Special Education (SE) Applications Dashboard. This application helps special education administrators monitor and submit special education data in a convenient and secure location inside GaDOE’s portal.
Under federal statutes and regulations, Georgia has a responsibility to have a system of general supervision that monitors the implementation of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act (IDEA) by local education agencies (LEA). The Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) enforces the requirements and ensures continuous improvement. The primary focus of federal and state monitoring activities is to improve educational results and functional outcomes for all children with disabilities. The monitoring activities ensure that Georgia meets the program requirements under this part, emphasizing the requirements most closely related to improving educational results for children with disabilities. GaDOE and the LEAs must monitor activities as part of the general supervision requirements outlined in IDEA and state rules.
The SE Applications Dashboard is managed by the following GaDOE staff with help from our Technology Information Systems Department.
